Jevon Cheney

My name is Jevon Cheney, and I am a special education teacher during the day and a woodworker and pit master the rest of the time. I started smoking about 5 years ago, and learned the basics while living in Texas. To really get my feet wet, I built a 100 gallon and 500 gallon offset. For large crowds, you will find me on my 500 gallon, but my everyday pit is a Green Mountain pellet grill.

Marc Spagnuolo

Marc's BBQ journey began a little late in life. Growing up in NJ, his exposure to BBQ was limited to the boiled ribs someone else ordered at the local chain restaurant. It wasn't until after college that he discovered the joys of combining quality meat, ample smoke, and just the right amount of spice! Since then, Marc has become not only a fan of eating BBQ, but an enthusiast of making the stuff himself. He now resides in the St. Louis area and is happy to be near the home of his favorite BBQ style: Kansas City. Bring on the sauce!
